Due Terre Nerello Mascalese
 I am a bold blend of Shiraz and Muscat from the Macedon Ranges, Australia. My deep, inky color and aromatic complexity come from the harmonious marriage of these two distinct grapes – a nod to N. Rhone where Syrah is fermented with Viognier.The Shiraz contributes rich dark fruit, while the Muscat adds a floral lift and curiously enough, helps stabilize the color. This practice of blending a white grape with Syrah for color, goes back to the 11th century Romans!
